The Unidad Educativa Modelo Tomas de Berlanga provides education for children living on the island of Sta. Cruz in the Galapagos. The slogan of the educational institution is to think globally and educate locally. The library follows this idea with information available on a variety of topics in Spanish, English and a few other languages. It is a small library now but constantly growing (mostly through donations).
